Katie Muhlenkamp
"Muhlenkamp ... shines with her beautiful singing voice. Her soaring soprano ... is delicate and emotive." - NEWS & RECORD
Katie is a singer, actor, and voice teacher based in North Carolina. She is a versatile and frequent performer in theatres across the state, having recently appeared at PBS NC, Triad Stage, Piedmont Opera, NC Black Repertory, and RhinoLeap. Katie enjoys balancing a performing career that devotes equal time to classical and sacred music, musical theatre, and plays.
Katie studied vocal performance at Elon University under a choral music scholarship. Katie currently teaches private and group voice lessons through UNCSA Community Programs. She serves as a staff singer and soloist for local churches, is the music director and soprano section leader of Season's Best Carolers, and a member of the Greensboro Symphony Master Chorale.
Katie received her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law and quickly found herself back onstage, balancing a legal career with her passion for music. Katie is happy to be doing a lot of "both" now - practicing law while staying active as a performing artist.
